I have looked for you for thirty plus years, but I don't know where to start.I always loved you Mama, and hoped you would look for me. It's been a long time since August 22,1940. Someone left me at the Salvation Army Home on Sept. 14,1940, S. Elm Street, Greensboro, N.C. I have a lifetime of things to share with you. Please, if anyone knows her or maybe thinks they might have an idea where I might locate her, please help me.

My grandmother gave up a child in 1940 or 1941. She lived in Winston/Salem, NC at the time. She later had a daughter that she named Judy. I am curious if there might be a connection.

I nearly had a spell when I saw your reply to my post. I had not checked it in almost two years. I have no way of locating you , but I sure am going to try. Yes, maybe there is a chance if that wonderful lady is still with us. I have always felt that I came from N.C. To leave me at the SAH on a Sat. afternoon, in broad open daylight took some hands on knowledge of the way the Home was run. You just don't walk in off the street and deposit a three week old baby, a case of lovely handmade clothing, A "warm" bottle of milk.,soiled items of clothing wrapped in a rubber sheet, walk out of the door and never look back. I was born on Aug. 22,40. Left on Sept. 14, 40. It is my sincerest hope you will get this. I am a " born again, washed in his blood, saved by his grace Christian." God answers prayers in three ways, Yes, No, and Not now> If it be his will the answer will be yes and now.
