Still searching- F 1/2/44 Baltimore, MD

I am looking for any members of my mother's birth family. She is deceased. She tried looking for her family in the past, but gave up. Now it's up to me and I need information on medical history and ancestry. Her adopted name was Janice Bernstein. Born on January 2, 1944 at Doctor's Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I would like to meet any members of the family if possible. I am her daughter.

Thank you.

Have you considered using the CI program in Md?
Although I used it - without ANY success - it is a way to get those records opened up.

You can read more on the program here:
http://www.dhr.state.md.us/ssa/adoption/scr/index.htm

If you'd like - I can PM you some links for search resources here in MD. (search/support, ect,)

Good Luck!

I have my OBC!! pfffffffft!
I missed her, I missed my siblings, I missed the connection, the identity, the ethnic background, the medical history..... I lost something very important in my life for 40 plus years. I am thankful to finally have all that back

The only other thing I know is that she wasn't born Jewish, but raised Orthodox.
