I wanted to encourage everyone to keep looking for their adopted families, even those of you looking for members adopted in the 30's. I first joined this board in 2004 with almost no information about my half-brother and finally found him with the help of a researcher last year (2011). He had been adopted from The Willows in Kansas City, where records had been burned, but I was still able to find him, so it IS possible. Don't give up!
