I'm looking for any information on the birth parents of Dollie Mae Jordan. She was born 9/7/1911 and married a man with the last name Morrison in Alabama and also a man with the last name Roach in Alabama. Her and siblings were adopted after their parents were killed in a train wreck... unfortunately I don't know when or where this train wreck was, or who her siblings are, but I think she MIGHT have been around 13 when she was adopted so that would put the train wreck around 1924 or so. I need any information on the birth parents or the siblings.

On the 1920 census it lists a Dollie Mae Jordan age 8 living in household of William Morrison. Has her listed as daughter. this is Calhoun County 6wd City of Anniston.

There is also a listing for Dollie Jordan age 18, Lilie M age 16, Sam age 12, another boy age ?. St. Clair County

Yes, I've seen where Dollie is listed on the 1920 census as William's daughter... it also has a listing for a William W Jordan, age 56 (if I remember correctly!), widowed... Now, I started thinking that maybe this was Dollie's father, but then that would mean he didn't die in a train wreck!
