I am doing some genealogical research on my family. My grandfather's parents divorced when he was a child, and he and his three siblings were placed in an orphanage in East St. Louis, Illinois, sometime in the 1920s to 1930s. The eldest brother was taken to live with an aunt and uncle, and my grandfather and one of his younger sisters were placed in foster homes. The youngest sister was adopted.
Here is all the information I have on her...her birth name was Katherine Lusch, and she was under age 5 when adopted. I do not know her birth date; only that she was born sometime in the 1920s or possibly even early 1930s.
