Adopted from TX twice
Looks like I may be the first from ND to post. We live over 100 miles from Bismarck. Our agency was in Bismarck at the time of our adoptions but has since closed. Our children our AA and biracial, a boy and a girl. Both are in grade school. We farm for a living. The kids enjoy the country, but it makes it hard to see friends all the time. We have a few families in our area that have adopted children also. It's always fun to meet new families and hear their stories. Our agency used to have yearly picnics. I don't know what happened to them after they closed. Not sure if someone still holds a picnic or not. They were always fun to attend. Well, I hope I'm not the only one from ND to ever post on here. I would love to talk to other parents and possibly get something started in ND as a get together or something. Being such a rural state and area, I think it's harder for people to connect. |
