SHE WAS 18 MOS OLD SATURDAY AND I RECEIVED MY THIRD SET OF PICTURES ... I STILL HAVE NOTN SEEN HER YET .. I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE "USUAL PERAMITERS" IN OPEN ADOPTION VISITATION ... I AM HURTING RIGHT NOW ... AND BREATHING SEEMS HARD AT TIMES ... JUST NEED AN OPEN FORUM TO READ DISCUSSIONS IF THERE ARE ANY .. THANKS

I am having the same problem. I can't seem to find anywhere that birthmothers can go to just talk in a chat room. Everywhere I go is for Adoptive parents and honestly I think I need way more support than they ever will. Wow though! I can't believe you've only gotten pictures twice and have yet to see your child. Is this your choice? My daughter is almost 16 months old and I've seen her about 5 times. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen because I'm still hurting everyday too.

HI THANKS FOR REPLYING ... WHEN I DID MY ADOPTION I DID NOT THINK TO ASK FOR VISITATION ... SOMETHING I NOW REGRET .. BUT I GET PICTURES EVERY 6 MOS ... AND I GOT A VIDEO AT 1 YEAR ....
