Open this bad boy up!!
So it's been confirmed:
Sunday morning, at a local park, planned on for an hour at least. Holy Moly. I'm working on figuring everything out: what to wear, what to bring, and what questions to ask! I'm hitting such a roadblock with the question thing. There are questions I want to ask but I don't want them to come out wrong. Questions that should have been asked pre placement, but I didn't, so I want to ask now. Any feedback, suggestions, ANYTHING are welcomed and encouraged! FIVE DAYS PEOPLE!!!!

Basically. what do you want to know? I didn't meet L&B until after we were discharged from the hospital so when we met we talked about everything. There really wasn't any questions that were off limits.
I can only tell you to be prepared for afterwards. It may not hit you that day or that afternoon but sometimes the emotions kick it when you least expect them to.

Well, start by saying, "Well, since we've both never done this before - please know that nothing I say or ask is intended to hurt...I'm still learning what to say and do and I know you are too!"
Just start with a 'no expectations' statement - and let her know you're trying.

Michelle, Brown and I were discussing that very thing and I am definitely going to
Oh! And I don't think I ever mentioned it, but the social worker will be there too so she will hopefully help to get us all kinda situated and introduced and through the awkward hellos. And Brandy, I might completely be putting that statement on a flash card and memorizing it by Sunday. I love it! L, I figure a lot of stuff I've supressed is gonna show up real soon...so be ready for phone calls! haha

Hon, I am up late since I work to 1am!! call away!!!
Atleast the social worker will be there. E has helped a couple of times when L & I have gotten together. Helped with the conversation and questions.
