Just finished the overview and chapter one (at work - shhh - don't tell my boss!) with pencil and highlighter in hand and am riveted....now if I can get some alone time away from the fam tonight I'll be jamming!

Jenna, hope you are okay.
When I read Chapter 6 I now wonder -- I had 4 types of Ambivalence going on at once!! Fluctuation, Emotional paralysis, Stalling and Hoping for Magic. I think I was also a Spendid Doormat.

Leigh; That whole hoping for magic thing? Oh yeah. I kept waiting to win the lottery. Not that I was able to leave my home and buy a ticket. But I was waiting.
Tmom; I just had my Husband buy me a new highlighter today because mine ran out.  Heads up that Chapter Seven WILL be posted tomorrow morning. I'm feeling "better." Still having some minor issues but definitely better than I was earlier in the week.

I just finished reading and selecting the passages to use for the discussion on chapter seven and, let me tell you, I needed to re-read that chapter. It's about birth parent grief.
When I read the book, initially, I was deep in the throes of denial and the chapter itself didn't "do" much for me. This time around? Whoa baby.
