My husband, Clemens, and I met when my son was 18 months. My son had his 22nd birthday yesterday. (It was a realllly bad day.) Clemens quckly became a part of the family. He loved the fact I had this great open adoption right from the beginning. He has been supportive, caring and there. I could not have imagined a better partner.

I don't quite remember when I told my DH but I'm very honest about my DD but he trys to be supportive I just don't include him much because I don't think he'd truely understand. Since he's navy on deployment well he hasn't been around for my emotional times.

Well, here's a little update from when I posted before about this topic a little while ago.

The guy I was hanging out with and friends with that I mentioned before - we're still hanging out and good friends.

I did tell him about my past and my girls now. I actually just recently told him this past Sunday night when we went for a walk to talk about some things and it ended up coming about that I shared my past and about my girls with him too because he asked some questions and the conversation just ended up going that way.

He handled my telling him all this pretty well, calmly and positively. He's already told me that he'll be there for me if I want to talk around their birthdays and such when I'm having a hard time.

Well and actually now I do have a boyfriend so he and I are now boyfriend/girlfriend and dating. He knows about my girls and all and nothing has changed other than he knows me that much more and thinks that I'm that much more of an awesome person .

Anyway, so that's my little news and update for now.
