Lightbulb What do you think?

I think I have figured out part of my gift to our daughters birthmother for Mother's Day. Our daughter recently got her hair cut, and I kept some of the curls. I am thinking about tying a pick ribbon around some of the curls and placing it in a beautiful little trinket box... What do you think of this idea?

BTW: This is cross posted.

I think its a FABulous idea, really.

I have a couple of envelopes with my kids' hair from early haircuts, and even an envelope of mine from when I was 11.

She'll appreciate that gift.

I think that it is a very thoughtful gift that shows your respect for the role of the mother who gave life to your child.

As another idea, when my sister died I trimed her hair and I made a necklace for her mom. It had a see through window and was really big and tacky but i think that if you put your daughters hair inside a locket and made it stick, that might be an idea as well. then her other mother could wear it
