Hmm, I'm in the minority, I don't have pics up for a few reasons. I only just started speaking to my daughter's a-mom again recently, so up until this summer, I only had a few pics of her from her first 9 months that her a-mom sent years ago. Those I have in a small album in a box. This is mainly because my family doesn't know yet, and I couldn't put them up in my room, and I had a roomate for three years who didn't know either. The reason why there was a gap in contact is because I moved on for a while, since that's what I thought I was "supposed to do".

But one of the first things a-mom did was send new pics of the family once we started to reaquaint ourselves. I wanted to PLASTER the pics to every wall, until I realized that I had few people to share them with. How sad. I bought photo paper, and was debating whether I should put the one of the family up on my fridge, where my boyfriend and I keep all the pics of the nieces/nephews/friends children, but I was afraid on the off chance that one of my siblings or my parents would come by and noticed it on the cluttered fridge (which doesn't happen often) DD resembles me a lot, so it would kinda stick out! I think I'm a little closer emotionally to putting one up in my room next to my bed, once we get the printer working!!

I'm dealing with a lot of the issues that I've held down for so long (the reason why I'm here!!), and I know that telling my family needs to be done, the sooner the better, so I am working on it. Right now I'm still trying to get my head together, but I feel each day I'm getting closer, but I know when that time comes, I'll certainly put pics up.

I have no pictures up (yet). I have a photo album of pictures of him. Although, I did give him my favorite of me holding him as a newborn in the hospital. I have a few framed photos in my dresser, and I have 2 newspaper clippings of him when he was about 1 and 3. I told him I have these things. He posts new pictures to his myspace so I can see them. I have seen a few on the computer. I printed and mailed two to his bfather. He has them framed in his house.

My kids do not know about him yet. I know they will be overjoyed to meet him, but until he is ready I am not telling them. I know my kids - they will ask everyday. My 9 year old wants a myspace page - so I know he will want to im daily. Until my son is ready, I cannot tell them. Once they know, I will likely put up pictures, but I would rather put up a picture he has given me or maybe one I have been fortunate enough to take.
