This is a poem that the adoptive mom sent to me on Mother's Day. I wanted to share it with all of you. You have all been a great system of support. Thank you.

To my hero:

You are my hero through and through,

You helped to make my dreams come true.

You gave me such a gift of love,

The baby boy I had dreamed of.

I get to be this sweet boys mother,

My children blessed with a baby brother.

A decision by you, so brave and wise,

Has yeilded me another surprise.

Along with him in his baby blue,

You've given me the gift of you!

I knew it from the very start,

You had a place within my heart.

So on our first shared Mothers Day

These things to you I have to say:

The words alone cannot describe

The love for you I feel inside.

Happy Mothers Day!

I love you and am so grateful to have you in my life!
