Please keep Kathy in your thoughts & prayers
Many of you know Kathy (Kakuehl) and how generous she is with her time not only moderating for us but as a support person for so many people.
To me, Kathy is one of those true gentle kind souls that reaches out to anyone and everyone she meets and truly cares for everyone. Unfortunately, Kathy's dad passed away yesterday. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through this difficult time. Crick

Thinking of you and your family Kathy - You're so wonderful and supportive for all of us, and I'm sure you're that way for your friends and family as well - but PLEASE don't forget to take care of yourself too!

My prayers are with you and your family Kathy.
Remember Psalms 34:18 - The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. I care.

Thanks to all of you. Things are going well, I think. My younger brother and his wife and daughter are flying in on Thursday from Texas. My other brother's older sons are flying in from college in GA. The viewing is Friday, funeral Saturday. D is coming to the funeral; he had gotten to meet his bgrandfather and had been hoping to spend time with him again. Meanwhile, my sister is reacting with her usual response to stress: she's running Steve and me. We're using the time we have to start packing up Dad's apartment (according to our sister's desires of course. LOL.)
We are at peace with Dad's death. (And yes there have been tears all around.) He was ready. He was frustrated that he couldn't do the things he loved. I am so glad the this last period of his life was brief. I will (would) never be ready for his death, but I'm glad for him that it's over.

BTW, are you sure we're not related? Your sister sounds like mine....
