Red face Complicated Situation

It feels like I just post a thread here every few months when things are rough--sorry, y'all! In my defense, I do quietly read most of the others. Anyway. I had my first visit with my bson, and that went fine--but shortly thereafter my partner and I had a condom break, and now my period is late, and I'm suuuper stressed out about it. Last time I didn't test positive until I was six weeks pregnant; if I am pregnant, I'd be about four weeks right now, and sure enough I test negative but that doesn't tell me anything!! If I am pregnant, we'd parent this time--don't think the adoption was the wrong thing to do, but too hard to do a second time, and we're in a different place now (married, living together, working). So I really just am driving myself crazy with the waiting. Any thoughts or feedback from you ladies would be much appreciated.

Susie, did you try the test that measures the low amounts of hcg (it's been a while...think that's what it is called.). Also, I bet a planned parenthood in your area could do a blood test which is more definitive. I am sorry you are stressed...either way, I wish you the best! Good luck!

The thing is, if you're not pregnant then you've probably got PMS which can exasperate stress as well!
I would try to get a definitive test and put yourself out of your misery!

Hang in there!

Well, I don't have a car and my partner is out of town, so at this point I'm just waiting--assuming that I'm not pregnant, but also not doing anything that would be super bad if I did turn out to be pregnant. So...I'll keep you ladies updated.
