apologies to birth mothers from Aussie hospital
A few nights ago on prime time news on Australia's TV Channel 7 there was coverage about the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital, a major hospital in Brisbane, Australia, that provided an official apology to birth mothers who had been coerced into relinquishing their babies many decades ago.
FAMILY PRESERVATION ADVOCACY: A Royal (Brisbane) Apology According to the news, many other hospitals in Australia may follow the example of the RBWH. Three women from the Adoption Loss Adult Support Group talked about their tragic experiences when they were forced to relinquish their babies during the 1960's.
