I'm going with Scruffy because Schnauzers are indeed scruffy little dogs. I love the breed and if I had one, Scruffy is a name I'd consider.

I love the name Atticus after Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. He's one of my very favorite characters...

Knowing you like people names for your dogs, I tried to focus on those names. I voted for Winston as it just "fit" for me.
Now...if you go with a non people name I'd name him Skeeter for sure. Hmm...Guess there ARE people named Skeeter though, right? LOL! Makes me want a puppy again. Sigh. KATHY!
