I also loved Strawberry Shortcake, Smurfs and Fraggle Rock. I loved the Care bears too - still do.
I use to fight with my brother over TV in the afternoons cause he wanted to watch He-Man and/or Transformers and I wanted to watch She-Ra and my other shows .

When I was really little, I LOVED Sesame Street, and then later the Muppet show. I cried when Jim Henson died.
Shaun Cassidy, what a dreamboat! *sigh* Saturday mornings, anyone remember 'Isis'? My girls started talking about superheroes lately, I informed them of several female superheroes, now my 4 year old wants to grow up to be Xena! I like all star treks and will be seeing the new movie when it comes out hopefully! We don't get any previews here. :-( |

I hear ya, Peachy...I also had a mad crush on Luke Duke in my youth...Although come to think of it, I wanted be Daisy Duke. Don't even want to think of the impact THAT would have had on the Dukes of Hazard...
And the heavens are smiling on me today because George Clooney is filming his next movie in Detroit!!! I KNEW he would come for me!!! Sigh... I guess he ties in to my Roseanne addiction...and Facts of Life for that matter...lol Last edited by lovemy2boys : 02-05-2009 at 09:51 AM. |

OMG, Peachy, props on the Tony Difranco reference!!
My sis (now 44) was obsessed with David Cassidy. Even had a David Cassidy beach towel. I (now 40...ouch!) was not a Shaun Cassidy fan....I loved Andy Gibb. I remember a girl who had a light blue satin jacket with Shaun Cassidy on it!! Too awesome. My favorite show was H & R Puffenstuff. I used to have vivid dreams about Jimmy and Witchipoo (I also now understand what the "Magic Mushrooms" were all about!). |

Fraggle Rock and the Smurfs. Allthough I always thought there was something wrong with only 1 female smurf.

OH OH OH!!!
I almost forgot my VERY FAVORITE SHOW!!! I LOVED Laverne and Shirley!!! And sstuart, speaking of Henry Winkler, I'll mention my Embarassing confession of the day... My favorite episode of Happy Days was when Fonzie water skied over the shark. Yep that's right. The episode that coined "Jump the shark" was my favorite. I hang my head in shame. |
