Hey they are thinking about adding Bridge to the Olympics.

I think for me. Ballet.
I used to do gymnastics, but then I grew: up and out. LOL Ice skating but couldn't stop unless I ran into the boards, forget about using the toe picks. And this is after lessons with Scott Hamilton, Dorothy Hamel and a few others, since my Aunt teaches ice skating and knows alot of skaters.

WOW!! That's SO COOL leigh!!

I'm very good good a cribbage, that would be cool.
My husband seems think that they test for beer at the olympic games. I would think bridge it would be required to drink cocktails or wine?
And of course, bridge mix...

I was looking in the paper today we're getting women's wrestling and track and field (watch out for those swedish high jumpers everyone!). Denmark has rowing and cycling.

I miss gymnastics!

Paige posted Problem was I was blessed/cursed with boobs...

Those are FLOATERS, Dear! You need to join the sychronized swimming team and your FLOATERS will really come in handy when you do the twirls and hand gestures; you don't sink like the flat chested girls, you just kinda hobble and bobble on top of the water thereby protecting both your blue eye shadow and water-proof mascara from running all down your face.

Heck even if you don't win you'll still get lots of TV coverage since guys really seem to enjoy watching women with FLOATERS twirl...must be the water.

Personally, I want to be on the new Seafood Eating Team! Now there's a sport I could really sink my teeth in to. I promise to practice practice and not quit until the fat lady sings! Anything for the good ole U S of A. Tracy

Ah, if eating were only an Olympic sport... Although not the ones were you eat hotdogs or pie until you puke! This needs some thought!

I was telling a friend of mine about this thread. She's recently joined a bowling league...she has 118 handicap! That is, they ADD that to her score...
Hey, she's got a FAB sense of humor!

hmm... do they have handicaps of 200+? I think my average score is about 58. (I always joke when we have a church outing that anyone who gets a lower score than I do gets to preach the next Sunday!)

I will stay out of the gutter..but just a few days ago it was a kitten and now it is a horse?!! WOW

I must say I just watched a batmitton(Sp) match and I do not think that my 40 year old knees could take the rapid changes in direction. Just playing softball last year almost tore a knee out.

Now swimming I love and can do at a very slow pace. I am sure that Phelps would lap me about a 100 to my 1. But I love to beat the water to release the stress.

I am starting to see the makings of an adoption forums synchronised swimming team. If only we could figure out how to involve alcohol. Perhaps we could spin up out of the water with fabulous cocktails in hand, delicately sipping while batting our blue eyeshadowed eyelids...

I'm envisioning it now... will we stay in the shallow end?

Well, we don't want to muss our hair, so deep end seems sort of pointless, doesn't it?

I don't know if I've got good enough floaters for synchronized swimming - haha!

I'm actually a decent bowler, so that would be cool if it was an event! And as always, there's still the drinking involved so I'm in....

But that begs the follow up question - what are you so good at that you WISH it was an olympic event? haha
