Not sure which board to put this on, but I have finally realized I do need someone professional to talk too and I was wondering if anyone has any experiences/stories they can PM me about Gladney's post adoptive services?

Or if there are any support groups in Chicago, I was told there are none by a professional, but it is such a big city you would think there was one.

Or a way to get counseling that is not going to cost me an arm and a leg? My insurence will not cover it.

I just kept looking for help till help came..
I know some here will say you need counseling that is adoption related.. but I got my best help from someone that was not even close to adoption.. and was a student..

I read your profile and I see that you are new to this kind of grief..
And to me it is grief work..so my suggestion is just keep talking with someone.. and heck posting on these boards or finding an email group for women that are under two years into this..
