Mothers Day and all that is coming with it .....
I have been reading all these things today about ....... what do you think of Bmoms on mothers day and birthmothers day ..................As a MOM in reunion I hate all of this stuff . I know adoption brings alot of baggage with it. But why does it have to ? One post got to me about the aparents getting divorced would you still place,,,,,,,,, the next one was about mothers day........... aparents said its my day and my parents day .... was like kick the brithmom to the curb .................. I know we all love our childern so teach them to love in the same way

Hi there!
It was me who said we do not honor/celebrate our son's birthfamily on these days. I'm sorry you see our thoughts on mothers/fathers day as kicking his birthfamily to the curb however I disagree completely. We have an open adoption with a very much open door/open hearts policy for his birthmom - she is far from kicked to the curb. How we chose to celebrate has nothing to do with my sons birthfamily. |
