Wisdom and Peace?

Hey Kathy, for any of us that are moms (birth moms or adoptive moms) is that possible, wisdom and peace ?[ I have not had f2f with birth daughter yet, but my two boys (20 and 23) seem to take turns not giving me peace and if I have any wisdom it seems to be missing when I need it.

Good luck discgolfer and please do keep us posted.

hi TexasPuppy,
- I was in total disarray upon reunion with my son May 2006. I was the lost little girl and we both regressed one way or another. 17 months on with help from: this forum/my counsellor/reading Nancy Verrier's 2 books/good communication with my son, honesty, etc and going through the reunion stages (PM me if you want a copy) and standing my ground when necessary, I've found a peace and a wisdom in all the resources above (plus my faith, which is personal and I'm not going to bang on about that, but I do feel I get wisdom from asking someone higher than myself for help) - yeh, I do think it is possible.

I don't however think it stops concern, pacing the floors when you haven't heard for a while, agitated emotions, etc, BUT I would LOVE to hear about your first F2F!!!! how exciting for you! If you want to ask anything please do or PM me!!! but I would just love to know how it goes and what is happening, as I'm sure any bmothers on this forum would!!!

Keep us posted,
love and ((((hugs))))
Jannyroo

sorry if this post is a bit garbled but I'm so tired.... overdone things this week.
