How old was your bchild/children when you got married?

I was just wondering...if you were single or what not when you placed a child/children for adoption, how old was your child/children that you placed when you got married after placement?

I'm curious as to about how long people have waited or gone through life and dating after placement before they have found and married someone.

Please share if you'd like to, Thanks .

Jerrett (the son I am parenting) was five (he turned six four days later).

M, the daughter I placed, was four, almost five.

Yeah both of those would be weird to see in type...!

I mean, I can't believe my first girl's about to turn 4 in March...I can only imagine what it will be like when she's turning 15 - eek!!!

Oh and then the whole getting married in Sept thing, wow, that's sooo exciting...It's surreal for me to think I'll probably be getting married in December this year unless something changes and it happens sooner, we'll see.

But yeah, I can totally relate to not knowing which is weirder to see in type lol .

If we follow our current plan of things... our bdaughter will be less than 1 year old. (Probably more around 9 months.)

You guys talk about 15 and 4 being wierd, sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe that she'll be 4 months next week.

Thumbs down

My b-son was 3 when I married the first time. My mother kept asking "When are you going to get married? When are you going to get married?" I guess she thought that marriage would make an "honest" woman out of me. I married the first guy that asked because, at the time, my self esteem was zero. Thanks, Mom-mistake #2.

D was born 10/4/72. I married DH on 7/21/73. Hard to believe it was 34 years ago. (Time flies when you're having fun.)
