presents for birthparents

I have been pondering this for a long time. What kind of gifts do birthmothers/birthfathers like? I know I can't give our birthmother/father anything compared to the gift they gave me, but I would like to give them something memorable.

What were some of the gifts you received? What did you like and what did you not like?

I am not talking about Christmas gifts, just a gift.

Uh, it depends on the birth mother/birth father. I like pictures, frames and other memento type things. I don't like clothes but some birth moms do.

Ask what they like. Or, better, get to know them so that you know what they would like or need.

Presents for a Birthmom

I love to get pictures of my bson when he was a baby, growing up, etc. I also love pictures of his children and artwork that they have drawn. One thing that he has never given to me that I would love to have is a card that just says I love you. Or you are special, ANYTHING personal from him. Or a dinner for two, just us.I dont care if it's at McDonalds. I just want a little of his time and attention more than anything! I want to know how he feels about me.

I got my first gift since J's placement and it was a photo of her from the last set of professional pictures they had done.
