My son is gone
I posted about contacting by bio-sons family after learning that he had been institutionalized due to suicide threats. I did contact them and they sent me updates and lots of photos. Today they called me and said last night he committed suicide and left a note for me. They are sending it Monday (overnighting it) and have invited me to go to the funeral.
Timothy 10/14/91-7/14/06 forever in my heart. I feel like I was just kicked in the gut

JGEmom, my heart goes out to you, this morning. I can only partially imagine how you are feeling. It is hopefully helpful that Timothy's aparents are including you in honoring his life, so tragically short. The pain you feel now is real and immense. Only with the passage of time will it ease. You need a lot of love and support to endure this intense grief, so don't hesitate to reach out for it. Take comfort knowing that Timothy's tortuted mind now knows the peace he craved.
