Looking for e-pal

Hello. I am a birth mother who delivered a baby girl on June 13th, 2005. I am 35 years old and a single mom of a 20 month old little boy. The father of both of these children left me in January and I have had no contact with him since.

I have chosen wonderful adoptive parents but have so many questions about what's to come. I've read horror stories of the adoptive parents being great up until the birth mother's rights are terminated after the 90 days and contact is cut off either immediately or little by little. Also, I don't have the energy to do anything, I cry daily and as time goes by, it seems like it's harder instead of easier.

The adoptive parents and I are in contact by email and will soon be sending pictures of baby girl. I made the decision not to see the baby at time of delivery as I thought it would be easier for me. Now I have to wonder how I will feel once I do receive pictures...should I just put them away unopened?

If anyone out there would like an epal, please let me know. I would love to chat with someone who knows how it feels and can relate.

I had a baby boy on April 1, 2005. While I was pregnant I picked out the adoptive parents. If you'd like to talk. I'd love to correspond!
