Question any B/Ms or B/Fs ISO son born in '79?

I am searching for my b/m and b/f.
I was adopted at birth with sealed records
so my information is low, but I was born in July of 1979
in Florida. If this information itself means anything to you,
please repond.

hope to find at least one of you.

sincerely,
a son desprately searching.

My son recently found me after 2 1/2 years of searching. He tried numerous paths, but in the end the best path and the one that finally led to me was through the original adoption agency.

If you know who the agency was they have both records. Obviously, finding the birthmom can be difficult because of susequent marriages, divorces, etc. But, our agency says that how they found me was with some new internet searches for agencies, police, etc. The agency enters the birthmom's date of birth (this should be in the records) and first name. In my case there was only one match. A letter was sent, I responded, and after we both signed documents agreeing to have our information released to one another we met. This all took less than two weeks after I got the letter.

I have susequently found his birthfather for him, but at current writing there has not been a reunion. I think his birth father will eventually come around, but it will take time.

I wish you luck in the search process and a successful reunion. We are still working out issues since our first meet of June 1, but to be reunited after 34 years is worth the work. Issues primarily center around adoptive parents reaction, birthfather's desire not to have contact, sibling reactions, etc.

My prayer with be with you for a successful reunion. Please keep us posted.
