Smile Greetings

Hello Everyone,

I have been a member here for awhile but rarely post. I wanted to start writing more about my experiences that I went through with my adoption and the aftermath. My name is Lin and I am a "natural mom". I like that term. I had my daughter on the sixth of September in 1999. It was and is a very open adoption. I still am trying to deal with the idea she is not mine. Eventhough she is 4 now. Her parents are great to her and that is what matters to me. I still struggle with the holidays. This past Christmas wasnt any easier. I have made some good friends through different adoption forums who have experienced the same things as I. I decided awhile ago that i would do good with my adoption experience. I go and speak about adoption and my experiences at group homes for girls who are pregnant and havent decided what they want to do yet. I feel very fortunate that i can finally talk about my adoption and not feel like im living in a shell where I couldnt talk about it to anyone. I now am married and have 2 more girls of my own. My wish is that they grow up all loving one another as sisters.
Thanks,
Lin
p.s. i recently formed a group on msn with a fellow birthmother/friend please come and visit! We would love to get to know you all! It is called Dealing With Life After Relinquishment.

I think it is great when we all help one another.

Isolation just plain does not work..

Glad you are here.
