I am a birthmother from twenty years ago. I won't try to explain my feelings right now, but will tell you all that my heart is with each of you and I hope you always support each other in the journey you are all taking. Life is short and we need each other during this big decison you are all making. I am 37 years old now and was 17 when I gave up my son. It gets easier over the years but I will tell you that you never forget and there is a place in my heart for him forever. I felt love and a bond when I carried him....I still have that in my heart now and still ache for him.
