Where's my birth family????
I am a female born April 30,1954. I have been looking for answers since I was 18 years old. From what I know my birthmother was hiding her pregnancy from her mother. She came down to DC to Garfield Hospital and had me. Her brother was there for the delivery. The birthfather did know about the pregnancy. He moved back to Godfrey, Illinois. I was 3 days old when I was put into St. Anns in DC. Iwas adopted through Catholic Charities when I was about 7 or 8 months old. My birthmother returned home to her mother.
