hi longing,
im a christian birthmom too, thats really learning to understand what the word "faith" means, and how hard it can be to maintain. i always had faith that a higher power existed and through my pregnancy and birth my belief and faith in God grew exponentially.

however, for the first time in my life i have really HAD to have faith in other people. in the past, when i didnt have faith in another the consequences were quite small. now, if i dont have faith in amom my consequences are devastating.

its interesting to me how i can have such a pure faith in something i have never seen but can at times have such little faith in something i know to be real.

does this make sense?

by the way, i wish you the best of luck with your journey and pray that you may someday have a blessed reunion with your daughter

tks for responding thanksgiving mom

hi there

yes i can understand your feelings a bit..

putting my faith in God has gotten me through the worst times in this adoption process....really and trully

its when we dont know why things go the way they do ......that we put our faith in God and know that God is a good God and wants us to heal and you know....God pulled through for me where no one was able too......that definately strengthed my faith in God when you actually have your prayers answered through means of ONLY God and God alone...

now thats amazing to me

Katey - I've just read your story. It is an inspiring one. There are all kinds of signs of God's blessings in your story (including the fact that you actually got pregnant - since eating disorders also effect your reproductive system -let alone carried her to term).

Thumbs up What a beautiful girl

I love your page.....I am so glad that you have found peace with your adoption and it sounds like the Aparents are following through with the openess of the adoption.
God Bless you and good luck in the future

Fragments of memory
of years gone by
The pain, the sorrow
A tear in my eye

The day long ago
I walked away
An ache in my heart
I wanted to stay

A Mothers love
It never ends
A broken heart
That never mends

We will meet some day
You and I
How sad the day
I said good bye
