I found a 3D/4D Ultrasound place!
At 25+ weeks, we can get a 20 minute 4D DVD AND VHS, 4 color pictures, 17 B & W pictures in 2D and 3D, and a personal webpage for $175! We can do it earlier than that if we want to, but I think I'd like to wait and do the "big one" as the place suggests. So COME ON Sept. 21! I'm pretty excited. Nic, if I don't stop myself soon, this kid may never wear all the little socks, hats, and tiny overalls. I can't help it! It's so hard to resist tiny blue outfits with little hats!

btw, the sales on clothes now are incredible. Don't worry about spending the money-a baby's gotta look good! And like any star, his fans won't want to see him in the same thing twice  .take care, LisaCa

Just updating
All is well at 19 weeks.
Bean is kicking now, though it's still too early for Daddy to feel anything. I rented a fetal doppler yesterday so he can hear the baby; it's pretty funny (and very sweet) to see a grown man lay his head on my belly and try to "hear" the little guy inside with just his own ear. All he ends up hearing is me, giggling because his beard is tickling me. Also, my doctor sent me for the Pentascreen after all. Figuring "what can it hurt?", I didn't argue. It's only a blood test. It'll be interesting to see what the results are. I'll keep everyone posted on that, as well as our upcoming follow up Level II Ultrasound later this month.

20 Weeks! We're Halfway There!
Today, I am officially 20 weeks along.
The little guy inside me continues to grow and amaze us. Last night, he announced his presence with authority to Daddy! He did this by kicking for him (and Mama), very strongly, for about 5 minutes. I was up too late last night, and the baby must have been rudely awakened when I finally got to bed about 10:00. Yes, 10:00 is very late for me; I am a bedtime wimp. Usually I'm out cold before 9. The little "thumps", "rumbles" and "pops" have been sweet, but this latest development was utterly amazing. These were kicks, ladies and gentlemen. My little powerhouse!  I love him so much already.
