I think I suck at trying.

Well, maybe not "trying."

I'm just tired this week. Migraines suck!

I know, I know.

I just had that migraine for TWO DAYS (and still managed to go to work (I AM A GOOD EMPLOYEEEEEE WOOO but Josh had to drive me yesterday). Man. That sucked.

C'mon February 14th conception. That would ROCK.

Do you have a migraine now??? Hope you are feeling well today... Glad you were able to go to work. I think I had only 1 migraine before and it sucked...

I will be thinking of you on Feb 14th and wishing you the best...

No. Thankfully, after two days of not being able to eat (I finally got to eat last night after work -- MIDNIGHT, lol) and squinting and thinking my head was going to explode, I woke up feeling like a normal human being. I get migraines once every few months. I really try not to let it keepme down, as in staying home from work, because then I just feel WORSE about myself and the headache. This one was awfully painful but my medicine seemed to work -- which I can't take if I get pregnant.

Though I had no migraines during my previous pregnancy.

I'm glad you are feeling well now.. Man, not eating for 2 days? Why does it cause you not to eat? Is it just the pain or do you get sick if you eat? When my mom gets migraines, she gets sick, so she doesn't eat that much..I have a few friends that get migraines all the time and they have little ones.

I have no appetite on top of, when I TRY to eat, I get physically ill. So, that's no fun. Nice mini-diet though. (However, I made up for not eating last night at Denny's. OOPS! )

Hey, just stumbled across this thread and wanted to chime in as one who has read every infertility book and consulted with many many experts to say: At ya'll's ages (Brad and Jenna) you shouldn't even consider there's a problem until you give it a year. The pre-nates are definitely important for your wife, Brad, but the 38 day period? Nah. If it were unusually short, that is more indicative of a problem. Forget the temperature charts and doctors visits for now and just have fun

If we had all the time in the world, it would be fine. If I didn't have strange scar tissue in strange places, it would be okay. If my kidney function would stay where it's supposed to (bad bad bad kidney day), I would be thrilled. If my doctors would stop changing their mind about whether everything was okay or not, it would be easy.

Sometimes those who are young do have health issues that make conception and/or carrying a child an issue. I, thanks to the previous pregnancy (which would have happened with any first pregnancy, regardless of life circumstance according to my doctor), am one of those people. I find it totally unfair that my Husband has to go through all of this extra crap with me but he's a trooper.

I think my real worries lie, anyway, in when we actually DO get pregnant. If my kidney is going to be this mean all ready ... it's going to be a long, long year.

Yes, Jenna. I didn't mean to minimize your health issues in carrying a pregnancy. I didn't get the impression from your description that it should affect your fertility, though. Sorry if I made too many assumptions. I guess I just see so many people who worry about actually conceiving who really don't need to worry. And in fact, we are actually built (women that is) to have higher success rates when we are are actually enjoying it (rather than calendar watching).

We're not super into calendar watching just yet. Though, we did figure out that our high fertile time is right before Valentine's Day. Hurrah on that one.
