After giving my daughter up 30 years ago we reunited on her 30th birthday - 7/9/98. It was wonderful not to have to suffer and cry thinking as I have been doing for the past 29years. Lori and I have a terrific relationship and her aparents backed up our reunion 100%. They gave Lori the lifestyle that I was unable to give her, after meeting Lori and her parents I have had no regrets for the decision I was forced to make 30years ago. My husband, son and I do not only have Lori as a part of our lives, we also have her aparents whom I think are the best.

For anyone searching, do no give up. The rewards of finding your child is great. Unfortunately some adoptees do reject their birthmoms, but the percentage of a favorable reunion is much higher. Good Luck to all.
