I'm a birth mom of a little girl born on December 1, 1984...well, she's not so little now I know. ANYWAY..I got an email the other day and this stranger warned me to not only search the exact day my daughter was born but to search other days in that year also. I got a letter from her adoptive parents telling me that she'd know she was adopted and that they were going to start telling her this at a very young age. Well, I know myself, and I knew her birth father very, very well and I know to be our daughter she'd be curious enough to look. Does anybody out there think I've been lied to by her adoptive parents AND/OR has anybody else out there ever met their child and found out they were lied to by the adoptive parents. No one could ever imagine how sick it makes me to think I gave my baby to people who started their life with her on a lie. I know she'd be looking for me... I KNOW she would.
I've heard of the "search angel" people. I'm realizing this isn't working on my own. If anybody reads this who thinks they might be able to help, please PLEASE email me. If it sounds like I'm getting desperate it's only because I AM!
