Adoptees, Birth Parents & Adoptive Parents Together- an adoption triad support group will meet on Thursday July 13th from 7-9pm at Faith Evangelical Covenant Church, 2001 Lakeview Dr. in Wheaton, IL. 60187. A safe place to share your adoption experiences-joys and challenges, and find encouragement, fellowship with others touched by adoption. A good number of attendees are birth parents and adoptive parents from closed adoptions- some exploring search and reunion and other in reunions. We have also had some newer members this past year navigating open adoptions. The group has been meeting monthly for 8 years, open to the public and welcomes newcomers! Send me a private e-mail if you have any questions. No fees for attending- a voluntary free will donation basket is passed to offset costs of adoption library books and refreshments. Attendees welcome to bring a friend, spouse or other support person.
