Hi my name Jonathan.
I have been searching for my grandparents for some time now and no luck yet. So I figured I would try here. My parents tried for a few years going though the proper channels and they got nowhere so they gave up. I don't have much info on my father but I know he was born on or around Jan. 21, 1956. He had blond hair, blue or green eye's. We were told he was born in Trenton or Jersey City. He was to be about 2+weeks old. it was a closed adoption. We are not sure it he has any siblings. His adoptive mother will not give us any info of the family. I'm 24 and thinking of having kids but I would like to know more about my family and its medical history before I do. any help would be greatly appreciated

We have found out the my grandmothers name at the time of his birth was Leila Barrett. We think she lived in Brooklyn, NY. also we think she was married at the time but don't know the fathers name. She was a switchboard operator in a Brooklyn Hospital. He was born in Margaret Hague Hospital in Jersey City. He was given up on 1/22/1956 just outside the hospital. He was given the name Scott Ahrens Barrett. If anyone can help it would greatly appreciated
