Well, If anyone has ever read any of my posts, they would have seen an adoptee/birthmom who had located her birthdaughter's family by a miracle of God back in March of this year but since the adoptive parents did not feel that it was the right time to inform their daughter of my contact until she asked for it after she was eighteen, I have been waiting patiently for it to work out when it was meant to by God's plan. I have been putting my faith in God to work it out when and how he had planned and it has been difficult, but I knew that whatever he had planned, it was the best plan. It had been seven months since I contacted her parents and I never expected anything to happen for a good year and a half at least, although I prayed that whatever happened, that it would be best for C----. Last Monday, on November 22nd, I received another miracle from God. I opened an email that said "I'm your daughter". I thought I was dreaming or that some scammer was trying to get the best of me, since I have been on this forum a long while. I asked her some questions that only she would be able to answer, and I then realized that it was really her. I couldn't believe it! God really works in mysterious ways. I am not sure what His complete plan is for our situation, but he sure is wonderful. I am so overjoyed. She and I have been emailing and instant messaging for the past week. I just do not want her to feel like I want to rush things with her. I want her to build our relationship at her own pace. Thank you God for helping both of us find each other. God is good!!! Just wanted to let some of my aforum buddies know of the good news. I hope that C---- does not mind, I am just so excited and happy. God bless all of you!!! Hugs!!!

Congratulations!

I am waiting for the same response from my birthdaughter. Her aparents were contacted approx. 6 months ago and she was not ready for contact. So I keep my fingers crossed.
