I am a birthmother wanting to provide information for my son to locate me if he wishes to. I do not want to create an active search, just to be available for him if he desires to find me.
Thanks for any help. A little info: Boy multi-racial (3/4 white, 1/4 black) Denver Colorado 9/1/1976 |

Where to start?
I think where to start depends on whether you used an agency or whether you did a private adoption through a lawyer. You can also register on a registry in your state if they have one. Put your name out there in as many adoption areas as possible, websites like this plus his birthdate and any other info. If you make yourself available, when they are ready, they'll make the contact. I have heard that boys sometimes take longer in wanting to reconnect.
Good luck.
