myfamily.com found my daughter

I started looking thourgh the internet about 6 months ago and I registered with every place that I could. So iI don't even remember registering in myfamily.com but about 4 weeks ago they called me and they ask question and one was am I willing to go on TV for a reunion and I said yes. Then 2 weeks later someone else from there called and ask a few more questions and a week later another person called and ask if I was still interested and asks me what all I have done in my search so far and I hadn't even gotten registered with IRSS yet but was going to the next day and she said "Save yourself some money just hold on one more week, I don't want to get your hopes up but we may be able to do this and save you money." I said ok. Three days later the same woman called and said "We are sure we have found a match and asks if I want to talk to her, I of course said yes and 5 minutes later I was on the phone with her. We are meeting on the 8th and I am having a rollercoaster ride. I am so scared and nervous but I will endure anything to just see her once so I know she is alright. Heres the thing: I only had this info to give myfamily.com. The name of the Hospital, city, state and the name I gave her at birth and of course mine and the fathers name and ages. I hope that everybody on here reads this so they may have a chance too.

I'm sorry I didn't mention that myfamily.com called me first and said we have a match, would you like to talk to her and then they gave my daughter my number. She called and she is coming to meet me on the 8th. I went to myfamily.com site and I was going to thank them but I couldn't find a e-mail address and then realized also that I had not signed up in their registry so I have no idea why they called me but it must be because they saw my plea on some other site. I haven't put out one red cent to find my daughter and believe me I got several calls from professionals offering prices ranging from 600 to 1,000 dollars and I trusted God to make it happen if it was meant to because He is the higher power and I have no control so , I hope that everybody else is as lucky as me I will pray for you. Good luck and e-mail me any time you like I want to hear about others and their searches and I will help as much as I can. Sarah

Thumbs up

Sarah,
I too want to know how it goes! I thought I had found my son, I was wrong. I gave him up 28 years ago. You did not mention how old your daughter is. Please let us know what happens.
Best of luck

Kitty

My daughter turned 30 years old on September 18th. My other daughter is 20 years old and my son is 17 years old. It took me ten years before I could even think I had the right to have other children because of the quilt the adoption caused.
