Unhappy It's my adopted son's 21st birthday today. How do I cope?

My son Ian was born on Halloweeen 21 years ago today. I happen to know his adopted name and even where his parents live, I just don't know how to begin registering to try to initiate a reunion. His birth father died this past June, and his older brother is now 22.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I do not know if your 22 yr old son is in contact with you or put up for adoption also. If he is with you, why don't you have him contact his younger brother. Also, if you know where his adoptive parents live, you could probably find out what high school he went to. Check to see if he is on classmates.com and email him. If you are to scared to do this, please reply back to me and I will do it for you. Good luck with all of this!!!

Happy 21st Birthday

6 months ago I found my b-daughter on the adoption registry. She was looking for me to. She thought it was great that we found each. She just turned 25 years old. It was really great to finally wish her Happy Birthday!!! Please don't waite. Maybe you could find a church pastor or close family friend to make to first contact. Mo. is a tough state to find anything about adoptions. I should know. I am also a adoptee. You are lucky to have all the info you need. I wish you all the luck and my prays are with you. Val
