I sent the recruiter an email. I have a bit of drama going on here on my end.
My day started out with one of my credit card companies calling me asking about a $1 charge on my account (the card has been paid off since March). Turns out that is how thieves figure out if the card is valid. Thankfully the CC security people noticed it and we got the card shut down. blah, blah, blah. Then...last week I sent my sister an email. I was very blunt about her behavior and how I was tired of it and I am done...blah, blah, blah. Well, she emailed me back. Of course, she still will not take responsiblity for her own actions. She started off with "I'm sorry I'm not as perfect as you". Whoa! I take responsiblity for my own actions/mistakes/whatever...I never said I was perfect...I'm far from it!! Sigh...if it's not one thing its another. It's not easy being so perfect. ROFLOL!!! Is it possible to adopt sisters??? I have a whole list I would love to claim as my sisters.

I heard from the recruiter. I didn't get the job. Just as well...it would be a long drive to and from everyday and that place is way too close to DD's college. I'm a bit skittish about accidental run-ins and I think working that close would make it riskier.
So...back to looking for another job...closer to home!! Like within 5 miles of my house.

LOL!! That's a really long commute!!
I wanna be closer to home...I don't like traffic, I find it annoying. LOL!!! Anyways if I was sitting next to you we would never get any work done...we would probably take over the whole office. We are like the Super Twins...our powers are stronger when we are together. ROFLOL!!! *Super Twin Power Actvate!*

Sorry Roni,
That is a bit of a bummer... But hey, the next one will be BETTER, MORE MONEY, LESS OF A COMMUTE!  Right now I feel so much good karma spinning around that I'm certain things will go well. Speaking of which, got to chat online with bson today, horray! AND I got my quilt back with an advance copy of the magazine (check it out in your local big book stores on August 7th, Quilting Arts) WOW! That's all I can say. I just feel a bit overwhelmed. This year has been crazy. But crazy good! So why do I keep crying when good things happen?

 (I'm really feeling that little guy today!)Roni, that's a bummer (about sis and the job). I have three sisters, one of which is a giant word that I am not allowed to use on these boards. I also have four brothers, so one might think I am all full of siblings, but I will TOTALLY let you adopt me as a sister!!

no worries about the sister...I've been having serious issues with her since....umm...forever!! no love loss there.
I'm a firm believer things happen for a reason. I spoke with my Attorney's assistant today. She gave me a bit of news that left me saying "OMG" repeatedly for the last hour. It's not bad for me...it just leaves the "experts" upset because the "system" has failed DD and I. That's okay...the Jury Trial is coming up and this coffee bean will be shouting "I am woman, hear me ROAR" ROFL!!! The only reason I remember Wonder Twins (that's right!) is because my little one LOVES the Boomerang channel and they show ALOT of the old cartoons!!! Josh'smom - we are really close in age...you know 21. LOL *form of a pot of boiling water*

Roni, I am sorry to hear about the job. (((HUGS))) and the sister. I have been having drama with my "father" for years and I don't even talk to him anymore!!

Sorry about the job, Roni. But I believe there is something better for you! And please keep us updated on court. I absolutely remember our OMG moment in a phone call from the attorneys during our case. You have so many huge things going on! How are you staying sane?! hee hee...21. DS called from Africa to wish me a "Happy 27th birthday!" Good boy. Leigh...what is going on? Have you proposed another date yet or talked to someone at the agency? I totally played Wonder Twins on the playground

Leigh - it's Friday now. We can always have TG fix us drinks  Heidi - staying sane can be debated!! ROFL!! I just have so much going on I don't have time to lose my mind. My plans for the weekend?
trying not to strangle my mother.... LOL! We have a 60th birthday party to go to . Other than that we are in crunch time mode for the wedding, so stress level is high which makes for happy campers!  My MOH and I are designing the bridesmaids jewlery on Sunday. She owns a yarn and bead boutique so we are going to make it!Plus side, it gives me something to focus on besides adoption stuff. I no longer go to my e mail and freak out, with all the wedding e mails sent back and forth, at least I'm getting messages! (different e mail addy than my fun one which is the one I use for here and myspace and stuff!) Roni: all I have to say is O.M.G!!!!
