Roni - any news??????? I have been reading up on you guys. Sounds like just another normal day.

I got an e-mail today that said God is going to turn things your direction if you pass this to 10 people. I love the God pressure e-mails. Who ever thought these things up - they are worse than chain letters.

Unfortunately I often want to forward them except for that last line that threatens you... So I often delete that line.

I'm with you Kathy, they are usually beautiful or profound and worth sharing the message, and then you get the threat.

I only get thoughtful about it when I am getting ready to travel somewhere. It's that whole Alanis Morisette song, Ironic - with my luck I'll fly without forwarding one of those stupid little e-mails and boom to my doom.

LOL, last summer my best friend and I were dealing with some stuff, I was waiting on good vibes from DD's a mom, and she was waiting on her divorce, so we would pass those e mails to eachother because be didn't want to tempt fate

I just found out that I'm getting a "position upgrade" to executive secy. I say position upgrade because it's supposed to be same amount of work and responsibility, but on a different level. Am I management now, I don't know....

But I LOOOOVE when these ops come around at my raise time , hint hint

About the emails...I guess the stubborn contrarian in me refuses to pass them on to anyone, just on principle because they made that stupid threat. hmph!

We got another phone call from DS today . It's beginning to get ridiculous how many times he's called when hubby is not home, but at least little guy got to talk to him and tell him that he's counting the days until he gets back. It was brief, but he sounded great, even when talking about sleeping on a concrete floor (it could be much worse!) and being a little freaked out by the witchdoctors walking around in masks, grass skirts and painted bodies and the drums and chanting at night. I saw that bsister also wrote on his facebook "wall" that she's missing him. She messaged me that she had gotten a job in hopes of being able to pay her own way to come out here to visit again next summer.

Yes, my day ended! (evidently as it's now tomorrow...or today...or whatever) Anyway, today is sad because I have to go to a boring computer training class in OC so that means more traffic and it's always SOOOO boring! But good because as they say "casual is the way to go!" Sweats here I come!

TGM! It is Thursday!!! Finally! I got my review yesterday and got the highest raise that the owner allows. makes up for the bru haha over at the other thread last night.

Chain letters are chain letters. They are against the law.

They can also be called a curse, someone laying a curse on you if you don't do this or that 10 times or in 2 days or whatever. That in itself is mean and nasty. It is not just unchristian, it shows the person sending it to have few morals.

They are playing on fear and superstition.

Ignore idiots like that, in the snail mail, emails or anywhere. Their stupidity knows no bounds.

Besides, what you wish on others could come back to bite you in the rear.
