Great to hear Q! Of course I'd love to hear some more details about bson so I'll be keeping my eye out!

I'm swamped at work these days, so I'm here less than I'd like But hopefully I'll have something to report soon! (Not like I'm WORKING on something to report, haha)

I will say that Quantum's birthson is a very nice young man who I enjoyed talking to.

Sun Welcome Back!!!

((( Quantum ))) !!!!

Welcome back!!! You were missed!!!

Please, please write on the codependency thread as I am stumped for a topic for this week!

(hard to believe I know).....

I am jealous that you got to enjoy Kathy's cooking. She makes her own pie crusts!!! She gave me her recipe but I still haven't made one yet!!!

Good grief!

About my son...
I'm going to post something somewhere on the whole family dynamic!
It was pretty cool spending some time with him. Very natural, we make an unbeatable team when playing games together which is a little freaky.
My best friend for the past 30 years and her husband whom I've known since high school came over to meet him. The husband was freaked out. He said it was like meeting a male version of me. How could he have my mannerisms and sense of humor? Freaky! I think it's cool. His amom says 'well you know, EVERYTHING is determined by environment of course'. I took the high road. I smiled and nodded.
I think it was great that he got to spend some time talking to Kathy. To talk to another birthmom. Although he was kind of freaked out when we were on our way and he realised that Kathy and I hadn't met IRL yet! He's ready to go back though, she's not scary at all... :-)

He's great with his sisters. I think my older daughter has a bit of a crush on him. My younger daughter couldn't wait to wake him up in the mornings. The car ride to Kathy's took longer than expected, but they all behaved. He became navigator in the front seat since my littlest had been barfing the night before, I figured brotherhood only had to go so far... my parents loved him, of course!
I dunno! what else do you want to know? I'll post about the BBQ with 25 of my son's relatives elsewhere...aaaaaaaHHHHHHHHH

Great to hear that so much went smoothly though! (And I would have smiled and nodded too....and THEN rolled my eyes later!)

YAY! You're back...and what makes you think we ever thought you weren't real hee hee =p.

Hubby and I are working with a guy who does loans/mortage stuff and figuring stuff out to see if we can get into our own place. We're looking at condos and apartments to see which one will work better and hoping to find something to move out soon before we go crazy living here with my mother and everyone else lol.

So, we're slowly making progress with things. We're also hoping to be able to figure things out to go back to school etc. later this year/beginning of next year and then there's wanting to move out so we can get things in a little better place to start a family. Not that we want or hope to do much within the next year or two lol.

As far as things with my girls...they're still good...about the same as always although there is some change happening. My 4 1/2 yr old's mom and I are friends on Facebook and chatted online last week and have talked about hanging out sometime so that's something that's progressing and then my 6 yr old, with the help of her mom recently e-mailed me after her bday in March to ask me twenty questions and tell me she'd like to meet me someday to see what I'm like in real life. I think I may have already mentioned these things, but there's a brief update of the exciting things that have happened recently for me with my girls, their families and our relationships progressing.

Now, I'm starting to think what to do for Mother's Day...although I do have some ideas since I can have flowers delivered to them or what not =). Of course, doing Mother's Day for both of my girl's moms is easier than doing something for my own mom - blah, oh well.

Yeah, so anyway, that's me...still hanging around and living life here. Oh and one other thing, our one year anniversary is coming up in a little over a month now, which is wild, but yeah and we're going to "run away" for a few days or so to a hotel to celebrate - YAY lol.

Hope everyone else is doing good with life and all =).

(((Q))) so happy to see you again!!!

Need to go to the other thread and read up on how it all went.
Nothing really new on my end. I received pictures!!!!! and there were some from her birthday parties (yes you read right, parties). Come to find out the letter was sent this past week as well. Need to call E back and see if there is a way that I can get a copy of it because I am curious to see what it said.
Otherwise I have been busy!! had to finish some things for a great friends birthmom get together next weekend, they went and offered OT at work yesterday so a group of us went in yesterday and then there is the 80+ weather outside!!! Time to get my 10 minute daily sunburn, all to disappear 4 hours later. LOL

We're having some lovely sunny weather here (not as high as the 80's though).
I have SO MUCH work to do and all I want to do is get my sunburn going...
