So what is everyone going to be doing this long weekend?
  Anyone traveling? Me well.............. Friday night: work Saturday: up and into JP to see E, up to Newburyport to see Grams. Then a nap and if I am awake, then going out with some girlfriends Sunday: up and go into work, see Grams, then laundry and lunch. Monday: breakfast with girlfriends and then NOTHING!!!!

Leigh...I posted a blog about the coffee bean thing (I am a coffee bean!!!) last night. They may not that funny because I was beat when I wrote them. Hopefully by Sunday I will have the pics posted from tonight!! AND!! Add me as a friend when you get to my profile
Well, y'all know what I'm doing to tonight. Tomorrow I'll have a house full of girls making SWAPS for GS camp. Sunday and Monday...who knows?? Maybe I'll actually relax (like that's possible) Long live the Disco Ball

If it were women running the league we wouldnt have it, but it is a bunch of die hard baseball men  and we will play rain or shine.SO please think of me, I will be wet and miserable

Woo hoo
!!! I'm SO excited for the long weekend...good times !!!So, what's everyone gonna be doing to party for the weekend? I've been down visiting with my parents since Tuesday night, working on getting a job and finding a place since things changed and my boy's back home. Of course, I don't have anything really big or fun set in stone for the weekend, but I imagine I'll probably do some fun things...I mean I am down here with my boy, ya know .We will probably have a family barbecue/party on Monday night with my family...not sure if my boy's family will be doing anything yet. We also are planning to go see Pirates 3  and who knows what else we'll do.Of course, I've been having a because I don't like still having to wait to get married until December especially now that he's back and not in Cali anymore. Yeah, I know...patience...and maybe something will still happen that will make it so we can move the wedding date up . Well, I can dream though lol. I hope you all have a great weekend  .

Anne, it depends on what kind of wedding you want! Getting married in PA takes a license and an officiant (or witness)... it doesn't take long at all to get married! Now if you want a big wedding.....
My dad used to offer us money to elope! The closer it was to the actual wedding date, the lower the offer!

Oh yeah I know it depends on what kind of wedding and my mom has mentioned that maybe we should elope ha ha...and I don't like that idea that much.
Well and it's not that I want a way big wedding, but I want something more than say just getting the license with a witness at a court or something. It's also more he wants to wait because I could plan and do the wedding sooner...but he's not ready yet because he wants to feel more financially stable before we get married. I can see his reasoning in wanting to be more financially stable and all, but it also drives me crazy sometimes so then I throw some fits and feel better for a while again lol.

 Hi, I was going to start out with something terribly clever like a quote from "Alice in Wonderland", my personal favorite......"This is the silliest tea party I've ever been to" Then I realized what my problem was.........I just read all 11 pages backwards! ADD strikes again! No wonder the conversations seemed a trifle odd.......! I couldn't seem to get a handle on what you guys were saying to each other??!!Anyway, I am a firstmother, with a wierd open adoption thingy and a 24 year old son who at this time doesn't seem to want anything to do with me...... And I just found him on the internet, and he is a photgrapher, just like I used to be and even photos bands,just like I used to ...... I was dancing on tiptoes happy about finding him, I could hardly wait till I moved back up here to N. Calif., but I posted notes to him and waited and waited andwaited and got now answer.......I already posted some of my story elsewhere on this site, (though I am not sure exactly where it is!?) if anyone is interested, but I saw this section and thought that it is exactly where I am in my timeline,..........trying to find the patience to wait for him to decide (if he ever does, hope, hope, hope) that maybe he'd like to meet me after all...... So,......can I join your pacing if I bring chocolate and daquaris? from what I hear about boychilds, I may be here for awhile........sigh........ sally

Welcome. You didn't HAVE to bring daquiris to join us, but FAR be it for me to say no... LOL!!!As for the wedding discussion, all I have to say is With three months to go, I have an out of control momzilla, a matron of honor that has been thrown under the bus by my maids so many times she's a ball of anxiety, oh and whoever said it's all about the bride is WRONG!!! I have 3 diferent people who have planned my wedding in their heads and get really snippy if I don't agree, but when I DO put my foot down and remind them int's my wedding, I become "bridezilla" LOL!! (you would think I was asking for gold plated invitations, quite frankly I am trying to scale it DOWN and make the affair more laid back and fun, kinda like me and my finace!!!) Well, at least it has occupied my time enough that I don't have the energy to fret over DD, before you know it it will be a month and time to write again!!!!
