Fun Friday - What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a kid I wanted to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader (they were a big deal in the '70s). I would practice and practice until I stopped growing and found out I was TOO SHORT to be a cheerleader. I was heartbroken.

I had my first career dream at age 5. I wanted to be a waitress!!!!

I thought it was absolutely wonderful that *all* you had to do was bring people food and then they left you a pile of money on the table. To a 5 year old's eyes...that pile of money might as well have been a pile of gold! LOL!

Later I had other aspirations, which included circus trainer, brain surgeon, lawyer, and author.

Uh...funny you should ask!

I talked to my best friend in Jr. High/High School last night for three hours...we laughed SO HARD at our 'dreams' at the time...

In Jr. High, we were going to drive a big PURPLE Peterbilt as cross country team drivers...and we were going to live on the same land, in our own houses...and our husbands would be "stay at home dads" - while we drove all over the US.

ROFL - haha - I don't know that it was our 'dream job' more than it was our 'one way ticket out of our one horse town'

*sigh*...to be young and stupid.

When I was little, I always wanted to be a teacher. Then as I got older, a psychologist.
