Ok, my secret fix for no chocolate chips, I buy a really huge, really yummy chocolate bar and chop it up!!
And I use a Betty Crocker recipe for a pretty good cake! But THANKS for the offer! I wouldn't mind some thin mints though... LOL! By the way, speaking of substitutions, I found a recipe for peanut butter cups that are BETTER, yes BETTER than Reeses... Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cups Recipe : Nigella Lawson : Food Network |

HAPPY BELATED B-DAY, RYLEE!!! I hope you had a wonderful day. I'm soon to be 47 in a few mos. and my husband is older and we joined AARP already last year (wives are included no matter what age) it does save money if you travel and they send alot of info too! You and I have alot in common, I have been taking care of my mom for the last 18 mos. and I struggle with my 29 yo daughter as well. You can PM me sometime if you want.. Take care of yourself too!

((((HUGS)))) Happy birthday! I'm only 27 but I dread growing older for those reasons. I definitely think when you're feeling like that you need to treat yourself to something nice. Hope you're feeling better!

I don't know Quantum... Dad turns 80 this year and I turn 58 -- he hasn't been 2X my age since I was 22! I will say that on my 52nd birthday, he called and wished me a Happy 50th birthday. I reminded him I was 52 and he said he thought I'd started going in the other direction... So maybe the answer is to start subtracting a year instead of adding one. BTW Rylee, I think AARP wants more members and they start sending those invites at younger and younger ages! How was your birthday? Try to find someone to stay with your mom more frequently: you need to care for yourself too!
