Getting through the first Birthday?
Hello everyone,
So, for those of you who don't know me, I am still in an adoption battle with my son's APs and the adoption agency and I was very much hoping that it would be resolved before his 1st birthday, but it is very clear that it is not going to be. His Birthday is Feb. 14th, and every day that gets closer to that date, I feel like I'm going a little bit more crazy. How do you deal with going through that first birthday without them? It's like it just reminds me of everything I've missed so far and I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to handle it when the day comes. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions?
