My Mom...
I'm just wanting to let you guys know that I'm still around but still staying with my mom at the hospital. In fact I'm going to be heading out there pretty soon to be with her.
She's out of the regular hospital and into rehab right now. She'll be there 2 months at least. She still can't feel anything from the waist down and it's frustrating her but she's going to be in physical therapy and hopefully at least be able to function. She gets to put regular clothes on for the first time in a week today. She also gets to be able to use a wheel chair and take a regular shower. All of that has to be done with help and they're going to teach her stuff but she gets to start all that today. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you guys. I hope you all had a great thanksgiving. Rylee |

My mom is still not better with her legs or any feeling in her lower body past her rib cage. It's so scary to watch her going through this and not knowing what is going to happen.
I'm about to colapse from the exhaustion of emotions watching her going through this. I'm SO THANKFUL we got the situation resolved about my daughter I gave up and how that went. I'm so glad it happened before my mom had this horrible thing happen to her. It has helped me knowing what she tried to do for me in that adoption situation. If I had only known sooner. ![]() Anyway... I've got to get going. I have a lot to do tonight. I just wanted to let you know what was going on. Rylee |

Rylee, be sure to take care of yourself, too! I know this whole ordeal has to be really stressful for you. Be nice to yourself...
You and your mom are both in my thoughts and prayers. I'm just so sorry this happened to her. Was it something that went wrong during her surgery??
