I'm just wondering if anyone here gave their baby up in 1976 through the LDSFS in Renton WA.

My baby was born in April of 1976. I had several friends who were in the "program" for the unwed mothers in Renton WA.

I had a very special friend named Jennifer who I named my second daughter after. She was a person who gave me a lot of support and when I was crying because I was giving my baby away she held on to me and comforted me because she understood how I felt.

I don't think I would have made it without her. She also gave her baby up that year. I'm not sure how far along she was when I had my daughter but I'm sure she had her baby in 1976.

I would really like to know how the girls were who were in the program with me are doing. I think about all of them so often and wonder how their lives turned out and if they've met their child they gave up.

All of our children are about 31 years old this year.
